An in-depth assessment on heatwaves was performed to learn how long and frequent heatwaves may occur in the future. This map shows the relative change in heatwave event frequency until 2075 according to different scenarios (RCP4.5 - optimistic and RCP8.5 - pessimistic). The map indicates an increase in heatwave events in Žilina.
